Applications are now being accepted for the first ever “Citizens Police Academy”, which will run every Wednesday evening from March 20-May 16.
Community Service Officer Kevin Hildebrand says they will cover lots of police topics such as forensic identification, use of force, and major crime.
In addition, there will be a demonstration of a intoxilyzer and how a stun gun is used.
Application forms can be picked up at the Dryden Police station.
The deadline to submit is February 6.
