The Dryden Police Service is back with its Summer Bike Patrol program.
Chief Doug Palson says two students are now patrolling area streets, giving police an extra set of eyes and ears.
Palson says the students are encouraged to engage with the public, provide needed assistance as well as take part in community events.
He says they have been instructed to not intervene in a potentially dangerous situation and to instead call for officer assistance.
The program is funded by the government and is geared towards students who are interested in a career in policing.
