Dryden Police Make Arrest For B and E’s And Thefts

Dryden Police are reporting an arrest in relation to several thefts and break and enters.

On Tuesday police say they responded to a call from Safeway after staff saw a 21-year- old man attempt to steal from the store.

The accused was also in possession of stolen property from the LCBO.

Police say the man was linked to, and charged with, two break and enters to a garage on Pitt Avenue from the 12th to the 17th, where a television and some alcohol was taken.

Police say Rueben Ombash is in custody and will appear today for a bail hearing.

Dryden Police say Ombash faces multiple charges including two counts of break and enter, two counts of possession of stolen property of $5,000, theft under $5,000, two counts of breach of probation and breach of undertaking.
