Area residents are once again getting an opportunity to learn more about the inner workings of the Dryden Police Service.
Applications are now being accepted for the 3rd Annual Citizens’ Police Academy.
Constable Kevin Hildebrand says the deadline to apply for the free and interactive initiative is March 6th.
The seven week course begins on March 25th.
Hildebrand says the program has been well received in the past and provides an opportunity to connect to officers as well as others.
Participants will receive an in-depth and hands-on look at forensic identification, major crimes investigations, use of force and taser use.
You will also learn more about gangs and drugs in the community.
To apply visit the Dryden Police Detachment or call Kevin at 223-1137 ext. 5242.
