Dryden Police are reporting a case of a break and enter in the City.
Monday night around 8pm, police say they received a call to attend a business on Government Street for a Break and Enter in progress.
Dryden Police then say the suspect gained access to the building by forcible entry and was confronted by a resident before fleeing to another area of the building.
Police mention when they arrived on scene the suspect caused multiple damages to the property in an attempt to flee.
As a result the suspect was arrested and charged with possession of a Schedule 1 Substance, theft under $5000, four counts of failing to comply with recognizance, uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, 2 counts of break and enter committing an indictable offence and failing to attend court.
31 year old Ryan Nickel of Dryden was lodged and is appearing in court today.
