Dryden Police have released more information about Friday’s bomb hoax at Safeway.
Police say the store received a call just before 1 o’clock from a man who indicated there was a bomb in the building.
He requested transaction cards be prepared for pick-up or the bomb would be detonated.
Police have learned a similar event took place that day in Post Falls, Idaho.
Another one was reported at a Winnipeg grocery store last month.
