The Dryden Police Service is out with its 2011-2013 business plan.
The comprehensive strategy is based from the results of a recent community survey.
The survey found that more then 80% of respondents were satisfied with the work done by the City Force.
About 58% felt safe in the downtown area and about 39% felt safe in City Parks.
740-surveys were randomly distributed, with a return rate of 40%.
Police Services Board Chair Bill Hovi says concerns included the abuse of prescription and illegal drugs, youth issues and vandalism.
A new and disturbing issue that was mentioned was that racism exists in Dryden.
Hovi says plans are in place to address these issues and more.
