Dryden watering holes can expect to see an increased police presence at certain times this year.
The Dryden Police Service says it will be supporting a new province-wide liquor licence inspection and enforcement program.
The program will consist of two, one-week campaigns in the fall and in the spring.
Chief Rob Davis says ensuring licenced establishments and events operate in a legal and safe manner is critical to promote community safety.
Davis says the campaign will focus on 5 key areas; serving a minor, intoxication, permitting disorderly behaviour, orvercrowding and after hours service.
