The Dryden Police Service has released its 2017 year-end financials.
Chief Doug Palson says they were under budget by almost $21,000 to end the year.
The Service finished with a budget of $4,013,884 compared to $4,034,720 budgeted for.
Salary and benefits made up the largest portion at 84%, while operating costs represented 13% of the finances.
Palson says they are looking good for 2018 as well.
A new one year contract is now in place but it includes no wage increase for Association members and Palson says no capital work is planned.
