The City of Dryden is preparing for possible evacuees from northern First Nations communities.
Some 300-residents from Sandy Lake have already been sent to Thunder Bay due to smoke from large forest fires near their community.
Emergency Management Ontario has advised Dryden that additional evacuations may occur tomorrow to several other communities.
The City emergency team is now working with partner agenices to prepare a 100-person reception centre similar to the one established last Summer.
