Forest Fire Hazard Down To Low Across Northwest

The black skys and torrential rain have provided some badly needed relief for the Ministry of Natural Resources.
The MNR says the hazard is low across the entire Northwest and adds no new fires were reported yesterday.
There are 66-active fires.
Fire rangers from Minnesota have headed home as are two water bombers that were on loan from Quebec.
Firefighters from New Brunswick and Saskatchewan continue to fight fires in this region.
Dryden still doesn’t have a single forest fire and all of our fire fighters are supporting other districts.
So far 476 fires have started this year burning more than 69,000 hectares of land.
