Dryden Ready for New Business

In 2007, Eric McSweeney came to Dryden and delivered a scathing report on how the City was far from close to hosting potential investors.
Now, the Economic Development Consultant says Dryden is leading the way in Northern Ontario in attracting potential businesses.
McSweeney approached Council Monday night and stated Dryden has made strides in a number of area’s, including on-line presence.
McSweeney says the City website has all the information needed for new businesses.
A Google search uncovered that nearly 14,000 hits were reported at the Dryden site from 17-countries last year.
Most of the traffic was generated from Wisconsin and Germany.
McSweeney says Dryden now has to build on its successes and meet with potential investors face-to-face.
