The wheels are in motion to make 2006 a year to remember at Dryden High
School.
For the first time ever, Dryden is hosting the Provincial Boys and
Girls Volleyball Championships.
Head Coach Todd Desautels says they are looking for community support, and anyone who is willing to volunteer their time is asked to contact him.
Desautels says he believes the 2006 OFSAA Championships will be the
best ever and will put Dryden on the map when it comes to High School
athletics.
Meantime, the Dryden Eagle Junior Girls Volleyball team hosted a
tournament on the weekend and captured the gold medal.
The team was split in half and both clubs made it to the Championship
Final.
