The handling of specific and difficult decisions has become a high priority at the Dryden Regional Health Centre.
A framework has been created by the hospital so that certain circumstances are covered consistently.
CEO Wade Petranik says the strategy identifies all of the resources and tools the hospital has to make the best possible decisions.
Petranik adds some examples of making a difficult choice include clinical decisions and end-of-life.
