Tbaytel is on the receiving end of a bid in the federal government’s new wireless spectrum auction.
They acquired 2,500 MHz of frequency space.
President Dan Topatigh says the additional space will support future network expansion and help meet the growing demand for wireless services.
He says they’re projecting an huge increase in data use by 2020 and the extra space will come in handy.
