City of Dryden reps are in Toronto urging the Province to help them deal with the pending layoffs at the Weyerhaeuser Mill.
Municipal leaders are meeting with Government officials at the Association of Municipalities of Ontario Conference.
Mayor Sid Wintle says a number of issues need to be sorted out before October 11th, including securing funding for economic development.
Wintle says they will also be lobbying against a proposed bypass around the City.
Other municipalities are pushing for funding to upgrade water treatment plants.
