Dryden’s Jeremy Brown has joined 6-other Metis youth in a 2-month
canoe expedition from Thunder Bay to Saskatchewan.
The group left the Lakehead Wednesday morning and they will retrace the
trade routes used by 18th and 19th Century Voyageurs on their journey.
Brown hopes they can paddle about 50km a day for a total of
2,300km.
The trip is expected to end July 22nd.
