Cold, Wet May

It was a record breaking month of May in Dryden.
The City received 115-mm of rain, doubling the rainfall
normally seen in this area.
The Dryden area was also front and centre in the news after a storm
dumped more than 75-mm of rain during a 2-day period
Environment Canada Forecaster Sandy Radecki says it was also a chilly
31-days.
The average temperature was 9.4 last month, 2-degrees below normal.
Radecki notes the cool-damp conditions will likely shorten the growing
season by a bit.
