A fire at the Black Barrell Eatery has forced the local business to shut their doors until further notice.
Dryden Fire Service and police responded Wednesday morning around 8 a.m. to the Earl Avenue Restaurant.
Dryden Fire Service said in a Facebook post a quick initial attack in very heavy smoke conditions quickly brought the fire under control.
According to the Barrell’s Facebook page, they say the fire may have started in an area of the restaurant that hasn’t been used in months and thank the community for their support.
An investigation is ongoing and cause of the fire is not known at this time.
No injuries have been reported.
