The Dryden Rotary Club is preparing for this giving time of year by distributing funds throughout the region.
The Dryden Rotary Charity Foundation approved 13 thousand 5 hundred dollars towards Red Lake, Ear Falls, Ignace and Dryden area Christmas Cheer Organizations.
That money will be used to assist with hampers for individuals and families in need.
The Foundation is also providing 4 thousand dollars towards several organizations dealing with poverty and hunger.
On top of that another 4 thousand will be going to the Children’s Delight Series.
The funding was made possible through Radio Bingo that broadcasts on CKDR.
