Dryden Rotary Club Charity Foundation Donates To Regional Christmas Cheer Campaigns

The Dryden Rotary Club Charity Foundation is providing the Red Lake, Ear Falls, Ignace and Dryden Christmas Cheer organizations with a total of 10-thousand dollars.

Spokesperson Rena Madden says the money comes from Rotary Radio Bingo on CKDR.

Madden says the money is to help put together more hampers to help the less fortunate during the holiday season.

The Dryden High School Living Library is also benefiting, with money earmarked for the purchase of specific books, materials and lunches.

The program allows students to share their personal stories as well as open dialogue on culture, prejudices and ethics.

They are also supporting the Cadets in Sioux Lookout, with money earmarked for the purchase of biathlon equipment.
