Staff at the Red Lake Margaret Cochenour Memorial Hospital now have a new piece of equipment at their disposal.
Nurses have been trained and are now using a Transport Incubator.
The equipment is used in the event of an infant that needs to be transferred to another hospital for treatment.
The incubator allows the child’s body temperature to remain stable and provides other supports such as oxygenation and vital signs monitoring.
The hospital was able to purchase the incubator with financial support from the Dryden Rotary Club.
