The Owner of Northwestern Tent and RV Park in Dryden wants Council to put its foot down.
Ellianna Wittwere has asked the City for a bylaw banning recreational vehicles from staying at Wal-Mart.
She has owned the RV Park for 10 years and says the free overnight camping at the big box store is bleeding her business dry.
Wittwere says she is losing $35,000 a year as a result.
Its Wal-Mart Canada policy to allow overnight stays however some communities including Fort Frances have passed bylaw’s making it illegal.
The City has agreed to further review the request.
