Dryden Sitting in a Holding Pattern for Funds

Dryden will have to wait and see how much its getting from the Ontario Municipal Partnership Fund.
The Ministry of Finance hasn’t disclosed the amount of funding for the community for the uploading of municipal costs and offsetting policing costs.
A spokesperson says the City had not submitted the required financial information by January 9th.
Dryden Treasurer Linda McNaugton says the information has now been sent to the Province and they expect to hear back shortly.
Sioux Lookout is getting $2.2-million, Red Lake nearly $2-million, Ear Falls $641,000 and Machin $315,000.
