Dryden Skateboard Park Update

The wheels are in motion to establish a new skateboard park in North Dryden.
The $250,000 facility will be housed at the revamped and renamed Dryden Rotary Club Park.
Police Chief Shayne MacKinnon says construction will begin once funds are secured, but for the short term ramps will be set up in North Dryden and maybe Milestone Rink in the near future.
MacKinnon is asking all boarders to stay off private property and to work with business owners until a new multi-purpose facility is in place.
If all goes according to plan, the new Park could open later this summer.
The City of Dryden has set aside $50,000 and grant applications are in.
