Scam!!!

A new scam is circulating the Dryden area.
A rural resident called Police after receiving a letter in the mail regarding a Spanish Sweepstakes.
The note from ‘El-Gordo’ claims that the recipient finished third in a lottery, resulting in a $615,000 U.S. cash payout.
The letter goes on asking for personal banking information.
Dryden Police confirm the lottery is not legit and they remind local residents that if it seems to good to be true, it probably is!
