Three different developers have expressed a serious interest in setting up solar power wind farms in the City of Dryden, with the capacity of generating 30-megawatts of power.
The projects have all received approval from the Ontario Power Authority, with the exception of one, and could lead to a 150 to 170-million dollar investment for the City.
Economic Development Officer Vicki Kurz says they hope to move forward shortly.

A total of 250-acres of land has been identified for the projects, which will require some cooperation with Private owners.
