Dryden Tax Rate and New Councillor

a busy nite ahead for dryden city council.
the 2006 capital & operating budgets are expected to be passed, with an
average increase for local homeowners of 4.5% once the provincial
re-assesment rates are factored in.
also on tap is the naming of an interim member of council to replace joe
delaney.
6 former members of council dating back to 1998 were approached to see
if they would be willing to sit until the end of the current term in
november.
2 people have said they want the spot so there will have to be a mini election this evening to determine which of the un-named hopefulls gets in.
