The City of Dryden has been chosen to host the Angler and Young Angler Walleye Championship later this month.
The tournament, designed to encourage young people to fish, has been running in Manitoba for five years and has also been launched elsewhere on the Prairies.
Tournament spokesman Al Parenteau says teams consisting of one adult and two young people will fish for walleye on August 24th.
So far, 14 teams have signed up.
