Dryden Torchbearer Announced on Monday

Olympic medal winners Catriona Le May Doan and Simon Whitfield were announced today as the first 2010 Winter Games torchbearers.
The Olympic flame was lit at an elaborate ceremony in Victoria B.C. Friday and the cross-country run has commenced.
Here at home, torch relay officials will introduce the Dryden torchbearer on Monday.
The announcement will be made at Dryden High School at 1 o’clock.
The torch is scheduled to arrive in Dryden January 4th.
