In 1995, a Dryden landmark closed its doors for good and now nearly a decade later a new facility has opened its doors to the entire region.
Yesterday the $6.9 million Dryden Regional Training and Cultural Centre officially opened at the site of the Old Albert Street School.
The 34,000 square foot building offers various education, training and employment services.
5 major partners were instrumental in the creation of the Centre which was first looked at in 1992.
Celebrations at the 500 seat Auditorium will continue the next 4 days with Michael Burgess starting things last night.
