A great warm-up to Thursday’s NorWOSSA Playoffs for members of the Eagles High School Soccer teams.
A number of players suited up for the Dryden Wilderness Under-18 Boys and Girls clubs and travelled to Winnipeg on the weekend to compete in the Boston Pizza Players Tournament.
The girls, coached by Kerry Holland, won two and lost two games in round robin play and advanced to the finals.
They fell 1-0 to SWCC in the championship game.
The boys, coached by Bruce Cook, were very competitive in their pool but couldn’t move on to the final.
They won their first game but lost their second and third games in round robin play.
