Machin Receives Federal Funding For Promotional Video

A major federal investment to support the tourism sector across Northwestern Ontario.

FedNor is spending more than $8.7 million to help the industry recover and grow from the pandemic.

Minister responsible Patty Hajdu says the funding creates local jobs, supports businesses, and helps welcome visitors to Northern Ontario

The Municipality of Machin is receiving $3,415 to develop a promotional tourism video.

The four-minute video showcases local businesses, destinations, and recreational activities.

It shines the spotlight on local tourism industries and the natural beauty of Eagle Lake, Minnitaki and Vermilion Bay.

The video is scheduled to go live Wednesday, June 8 on the Municipality’s website and various social media platforms.
