Dryden Volunteer Firefighter Clayton Schell Retires

Dryden Volunteer Firefighter Clayton Schell is retiring after 40 years of service.

Schell joined the Department back on January 1st, 1976

He attended his first large loss fire at the Dryden House Hotel on Queen Street in April of 1976.

Coincidentally, Schell finishes his career after the large loss fire that was on Queen street on Christmas day.

A Provincial Long Service Medal Ceremony will be held at a later date to recognize Schell’s service to the public.
