As the region grapples with the collapse of the Northwest Ontario Recycle Association, the City of Dryden is trying to grapple with an eyesore.
Some residents have been leaving garbage at recycle bins at the city glass depot site and at the Barclay landfill site.
It has created a big mess at both locations.
As a result, city council is proposing changes.
The Public Works Department wants council to consider discontinuing recycling glass and getting rid of recycle bins at the depot and landfill.
The city will advertise the proposed changes in the coming weeks.
