Dryden Watersliding Fundraiser

The Dryden Waterslide Committee has unveiled its first major fundraiser.
On Canada Day, a thousand golf balls will roll down Duke Street.
Numbered balls will be launched from a ramp and will eventually funnel into a holding cell.
The top 3 finishers can win a $1,000, a DVD player and a shopping spree at Safeway.
All proceeds will go to the purchase of the double loop waterslide at the Dryden Rec Complex.
Dryden is only the second community in Ontario to host this kind of race.
The Dryden Rotary Club is co-sponsoring the fundraiser.
