The City of Dryden is the only northwestern Ontario community to receive money from the provincial Connecting Link fund.
The municipality has been awarded more than $53,000.
The money will be used to help upgrade the Duke Street Overpass and Underpass.
19 Ontario municipalities are sharing a total of $25-million for infrastructure improvements this year.
