Dryden Youth Centre Closing

The Dryden Youth Centre will be closing its doors on December 31st.
Council has decided not to extend funding for the program.
Shayne MacKinnon is speaking out against the move, stressing youth are losing a great program.
MacKinnon says our children deserve a Youth Centre in the community.
He believes the facility reduces crime as it keeps kids busy and active.
He’s hoping that someone else steps forward to run the centre.
The decision was made behind closed doors on Monday.
