Thunder Bay North Stars rookie forward Daniel Delpaggio has been named SIJHL-Pizza Hut player of the week.
The 17-year-old scored five times and added two assists in two games last week.
Delpaggio, who represented the SIJHL at last month’s Canadian Junior Hockey League Prospects game, is currently riding a 5-game point streak.
He leads the North Stars in offensive production with 40-points in just 20-games.
Delpaggio sits in third place in SIJHL scoring and leads the league in points-per-game average at 2.00.
Dryden’s Chris Varrin and Dominic Blouin of English River also received consideration.
