A Grade 8 student in Dryden is asking the City to address a growing nuisance deer problem.
Cameron Skene is calling on Council to rethink the possibility of archery hunting for deer in City limits or find a different way to get the deer out of town.
The request comes following two close calls with aggressive deer.
The animals began to stomp their feet and Skene says he was worried about his safety.
Skene lives on Van Horne Avenue by the Laura Howe Marsh and usually rides his bike or walks to school.
He stresses someone will eventually get hurt by a deer.
Skene says he usually sees three to five deer on a daily occurrence and tries to avoid them.
