Dryden city councillors agree something must be done quickly to tackle the community doctor shortage.
However, nothing was done last night to address a Dryden Cares Committee proposal for a community clinic.
City councillors say although they agree with the concept in principle, they feel further study is needed through a city health care subcommittee.
In the meantime, Mayor Sid Wintle feels a physician recruiter should be hired with funding provided by the city and the Dryden Hospital.
