Al Neill’s experimental Multiple Sclerosis liberation therapy has been deemed a success.
The Dryden resident had his 1-and-a-half hour surgery Tuesday in Costa Rica.
Doctors were able to find and treat 3-blockages in his left and right jugular as well as the azygos vein in the back of his chest.
His family tells CKDR News that Neill is seeing some immediate improvements and has started physiotherapy.
Neill was able to make the trip to Costa Rica and receive the treatment after friends and family raised over $20,000 in a major fundraising campaign.
