Dryden’s Chris Pronger is headed to the Sunshine State.
The Florida Panthers have named Pronger as their new Senior Advisor to the President of Hockey Operations.
The 42-year-old has spent the last three years working for the NHL’s Department of Player Safety.
Panthers General Manger Dale Tallon says Chris is ready to move into a more competitive, executive role.
Tallon adds one of the most dominant defenceman of his era, Chris’ winning resume and wealth of hockey knowledge will be a great asset to their hockey club.
Pronger says he’s excited about the opportunity to work with and learn from an executive with the track record that Dale Tallon has.
He adds he looks forward to doing everything he can to help the Panthers work towards winning the Stanley Cup.
