Dryden’s Ian McMillan and the Braden Calvert rink are off to an 0-1 start at the Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling Tour Challenge in Thunder Bay.
Ontario’s Glenn Howard only needed five ends to defeat the Manitoba team 9-2 Tuesday night.
Throwing second stones, McMillan curled 75%.
It doesn’t get any easier as they face Calgary’s Kevin Koe Wednesday afternoon at 3:00 eastern.
Koe is a two-time World champion and three-time Canadian champion.
