A dream to participate in the Olympic Games is underway for Dryden’s Ian McMillan.
McMillan and the Jason Gunnlaugson rink from Winnipeg is 1-0 at the Home Hardware ‘Road to the Roar’ Pre-Trial Olympic Qualifying event in Summerside, P.E.I.
They defeated the Flasch rink from Saskatoon 7-2 in eight ends Tuesday morning.
They return to the ice Wednesday morning at 6:00 central.
McMillan throws second rocks for the team that curls out of the Granite Curling Club.
