Just one win for the Kenora ‘AAA’ Midget Thistles on their three game road trip through western Manitoba.
Dryden’s Matthew Pitchenese scored two goals, including the game winner in overtime as the Thistles edged the Southwest Cougars 4-3 Friday night in Virden.
Saturday, the Kenora Midgets were edged 2-1 by the Yellowhead Chiefs and Sunday, the Thistles were beaten 5-3 by the Brandon Wheat Kings.
