The party gets started in Dryden Saturday as the community prepares to host the Dudley Hewitt Cup.
The Ice Dogs Alumni game opens festivities at 4:00pm, with an Arena dance kick-off party at 8:00pm.
Shawna Sveinson says it’s their way of saying thank you for all of the support, noting it’s a community celebration geared towards everyone.
Sveinson calls it a great kick-off to the Central Canadian Junior Hockey Championship.
The dance will feature the Dryden Rotary Beer Gardens, music from Blake Ponton and food from Street Meat.
It’s an age of majority event.
