Duke Street Improvements Set To Begin

Long awaited upgrades to Duke Street in Dryden are scheduled to begin later today or tomorrow.
Once the work begins the road will be closed between Colonization and Casimir.
Director of Public Works and Engineering Blake Poole says a detour will be set up at Colonization Avenue to Princess Street to Casimir.
Poole says the public will still be able to access area businesses.
The project is expected to end at the end of October.
Crews will replace the watermain, storm and sanitary system, asphalt as well as some curbs.
