Dylan Robertson of the Fort Frances Lakers has was won the award for the 2015-2016 season.
The 20-year-old was recognized for his effort on both ends of the ice.
Robertson led the league in scoring with 88 points, with two of his 31 goals coming while the Lakers were shorthanded.
He becomes the fifth player in SIJHL history from a Fort Frances-based franchise to capture the award.
