E-Mail Scam in the Area

Dryden Police have received complaints in the past couple of days regarding an e-mail scam.
Residents have reported getting an e-mail from a friend indicating that they are being detained overseas and require money to get out of trouble.
Police urge the public not to send money to anyone under suspicious circumstances.
